Hammerhead Productions was founded by four partners, Jamie Dixon, Dan Chuba, Rebecca Marie, and Thad Beier, in February, 1995.
	Jamie is the President of Hammerhead. In '96, he directed his first film, Bram Stoker's Shadowbuilder, and was a producer on the MGM/UA film Supernova . He was one of the pioneers in digital visual effects, and has created state-of-the-art effects in over 100 films over the past decade, working primarily for Pacific Data Images before the founding of Hammerhead.
	Thad is our programmer and tool builder. He won an Acadamy Technical Award during this past year for Ras_track, and was the Visual Effects Supervisor for Shadowbuilder. He has supervised Hammerhead's work on various other films including Paulie. He's been working in the computer graphics field since '78, first at the New York Institute of Technology, then Lucasfilm, Pacific Data Images and Silicon Graphics. Here's Thad's personal home page.
	Rebecca is a Visual Effects Supervisor, and Art Director, and has supervised for various films including Baz Luhrmann's version of Romeo and Juliet. Her background is an interesting mixture of visual art and computer programming, and she holds a bachelor of fine arts degree with a major in painting. She previously worked at the late Digital Productions, Metrolight, and Pacific Data Images.
	Dan is our producer and writer. Among other scripts, he wrote the draft of Supernova that was originally purchased by United Artists, and was one of the producers on that film. Before Pacific Data Images, he worked at Apogee, a high-end traditional effects shop.
