Tuxedo

Hammerhead Productions created a single but important shot for the film Tuxedo. The shot takes us under the sleeve of Jackie Chan's "magic" tux, to show how sensors fire impulses into his nervous system, giving him amplified powers. The three elements of the shot were produced separately then married into one continuous motion. The first is manipulation on live action to make it appear that the camera "flies" up, under the sleeve. The second is a 3D rendering of the mechanisms, networked together and firing impulses. The third is a roller coaster ride through the body and down a nerve to a specific junction, and firing.
