HAMMERHEAD delivered 120 shots that were used in the bus sequence. All interior shots aboard the bus were shot on a green screen sound stage. Live action plates taken while driving the streets of New York were composited into the windows to give the feeling that the bus was driving. To add to the realism , many of the flaws of reality were added including scratches in the windows, distortions and reflections. The work turned out so seamlessly, that the (self proclaimed) visual effects cursed Sydney Pollack now wants to shoot all his movies this way.
