We are making versions of ras_track and roto available, for free, for at least the next year (that is, until 2003). The idea behind doing this is to stimulate interest in Linux for the visual effects industry. After January 2003, we will re-evaluate what the pricing should be, if any; based on the response we get during this year. This programs are written using RedHat version 7.2, upgraded to the 2.4.17 kernel, but I would think that any 2.4 kernel should work.

Shift-click the following line to download the programs.  When you first run the programs, they will print out an ID number for your machine, you need to send this to me to get a key.  For the time being, these evaluation/testing keys will be for one year.

The ras_track program uses the shared library versions of the Mesa and Glut libraries, so make sure that these are installed.
