Dr. Dolittle 2

HAMMERHEAD PRODUCTIONS was approached by Rhythm & Hues Studios to assist on the production of 25 visual effects shots for Dr. Dolittle 2. The selected shots involved creatingg the illusion of "Archie" the bear talking. This was accomplished by mapping textures from the live action bear onto a "muzzle" shape that was animated in sync with the voice track. This element was then composited back over the live action shot.
